Rigid Foam Insulation (TOP)

Dow Styrofoam has proven performance since 1948. Styrofoam brand insulation, the blue extruded polystyrene foam, has a unique, tight cell structure that leaves no voids between cells. The result if high compression strength and unequaled resistance to water penetration. For use in perimeter foundation, drainage panels, under slap, cold storage, cavity wall, and protection in the commercial construction industry.

Thermax Insulation Board products provide superior, high
R-value performance for a wide range of commercial applications because of their unique glass fiber reinforced polyisocyanurate foam core structure produced by a patented process. In further terms of superiority, Thermax Insulation Board features fire performance for the broadest range of code and insurance approvals to meet concealed and exposed construction requirements.
Tuff-R Insulating Sheathing products feature a patented high performance polyisocyanurate foam core. Two choices are available, each offering the same high R-values, but with different facers to satisfy varying needs for toughness.
Tuff-R features radiant barrier quality aluminum foil facers on both sides. Available from 1" to 2" in thickness.
Available in various thickness in 16", 24", or 48" widths, 8' lengths. R value- approx. 7.2 per inch.
Beadboard (EPS) Beadboard is a low density, less expensive expanded polystyrene available in all sizes and widths.

Mineral Wool (TOP)
Thermafiber insulations offer superior fire protection through the ability of their mineral fibers to resist temperatures up to 2,000 degrees F. By contrast, glass fiber insulations begin to disintegrate at about 1,050 degrees F.
Safe Insulation- All three model building codes in the U. S. A. require that the gap at the slab at the edge/curtain wall interface be treated to maintain the same fire integrity as the floor/ceiling.
Fire protection systems with Thermafiber Safing Insulation stop fire at the juncture of floor slabs with exterior curtain wall systems of buildings. Also approved for installing around through penetrations in floors, walls and joint configurations with fire stop sealant.

Curtain Wall Insulations are designed for use in curtain wall assemblies, these products provide key features for fire-containment applications:

  • proven history of performance for 20 years.
  • require positive mechanical attachment for aluminum-framed systems.
  • optional dark colored product for backing glass spandrel panels.
  • available in different density, CW40, CW70, CW90.
  • available with a tough scrim-reinforced foil facing or unfaced.
Roxul products are mineral wool fiber insulations made from basalt rock and steel slag. This combination results in a non-combustile product with a melting point of approximately 2150 degrees F., which gives it exellent fire resistant properties. It is available FSK faced or unfaced.
